• After eight games on the road, the Rattlers return to The Park for four, hosting Eastern New Mexico and sixth-ranked West Texas A&M this weekend.
• St. Mary's is a perfect 12-0 at The Park against Eastern New Mexico. All four losses to the Greyhounds come on a neutral diamond.
• Head Coach Donna Fields is closing in on a major milestone. She is now two wins shy of 1,000 for her career. There are 14 other Division II coaches all-time and 41 in the entirety of NCAA who have reached the milestone.
• Senior Abigale Carney became the second player in the school's DII history to hit a home run in three consecutive at bats, when she hit four in a five-at bat stretch against Texas Woman's. She joins Jared Gonzalez (2012) who left the yard in four-straight at bats.
• In 24 of the 31 games this season, the Rattlers have scored first and they are 21-3 in those contests.
• Senior Jayme Johns has been on base in 27 straight games, missing only the season opener. She has at least one hit in 21 of those 27 contests and 11 multi-hit games.
• St. Mary's is currently tied for 10th in the nation and tied for the Lone Star Conference lead in fielding percentage at .975. The Rattlers have 21 errors in 830 chances this season.
• Senior Victoria Aldridge has drawn 70 walks in her career, which ranks 24th amongst active Division II players. Also on the career active list is Abigale Carney in games played (10), RBI (16), at bats (17), home runs (18) and doubles (26).
• The Rattlers are receiving votes in the NFCA poll, one of eight Lone Star Conference teams either ranked or getting votes. This is the fourth-straight week StMU has appeared in the coaches poll.
