SAN ANTONIO – Runs were at a premium for the St. Mary's Baseball team on Sunday afternoon as they dropped both games of a doubleheader to Oklahoma Christian, 8-3 and 13-1.

The Rattlers (0-3) and Eagles (3-0) close out the series on Monday at Noon with a nine-inning scheduled contest at Dickson Stadium.

GAME ONE RECAP
Senior right-handed pitcher
Steven Medrano (El Paso, Texas) was on the hill for four innings, allowing three earned runs (four total) with two walks and six strikeouts and junior
Anthony Chavez (El Paso) pitched the final three, surrendering four unearned runs with one walk and three strikeouts.

Trailing 4-0 in the fifth inning, sophomore
Easton Parrish (La Vernia, Texas) blasted a three-run home run over the right field fence, scoring both senior
Ryan McGowen (San Antonio) and junior
Clay Bradford (Atoscocita, Texas), but the Eagles answered with one in the sixth and three in the seventh off miscues by the Rattlers for the 8-3 final.

Brian Juarez (Corpus Christi, Texas) and Jake Elizondo (San Antonio) added hits.

GAME TWO RECAP
The Rattlers were more patient at the plate in game two, drawing a season-high eight walks, adding four hits but they stranded 11 batters in the 13-1 loss.

OC batted around in the second inning, plating six runs and chasing Bradford from the hill. Sophomore
