2024 (SENIOR)
Played in 43 of the team’s 50 games, starting 37… Hit .226 for the year… Collected 28 hits with four being doubles, three triples and two home runs… Drew 20 walks and was plunked twice, striking out only 21 times in 124 at bats… Was 2-for-3 in stolen bases… Had 70 chances in the field without making an error, and recorded one outfield assist… Eight of his 21 RBI came with two outs… Reached base safely in the final two games of the year… Hit his two home runs in back-to-back games against Oklahoma Christian on Feb. 23-24… Made a huge catch at the fence in right field in the top of the ninth against #4 West Texas A&M to preserve the 4-3 for the Rattlers… Named to the Lone Star Commissioner’s Honor Roll in both semesters.
2023 (JUNIOR)
Played in 22 games, starting 14 in the outfield… Hit .174 and three of his eight hits were doubles… Drove in six runs and was 1-for-1 in steals… Seven of his eight hits were against right-handed pitchers… Also worked for the athletics department, assisting in facilities and operations during the fall and winter seasons… Earned a place on the Lone Star Commissioner’s Honor Roll both semesters.
2022 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE)
Started in 34 of the 39 games he played... Hit .267 with 24 hits, with three doubles, two triples and two home runs... Drew 25 walks and was hit by nine pitches... Was 6-forr-8 in stolen bases... Made 61 putouts in the outfield... Recorded three multi-hit games.
PRIOR TO StMU
Redshirted the 2021 season after playing in five games as a freshman in 2020 at UTRGV... Was 2-for-9 at the plate with two runs scored and a pair of walks.
HIGH SCHOOL
As a senior in 2019, hit .365 with three doubles, two triples, 17 RBI, 13 runs scored and a .515 on-base percentage at PSJA High School… As a freshman, hit .460 with four triples, one double, one home run, 13 RBI, 19 runs scored, seven stolen bases, a .556 on-base percentage and a .700 slugging percentage …
Played summer ball with the South Texas Sliders.
