PRIOR TO StMU
Appeared in two games, starting one at Tennessee Tech in 2021... Spent 2018-2020 at Howard College, redshirting the 2018 season... In 2020 he made four appearances on the hill before the remainder of the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic… Recorded a 3.86 ERA with one save in 7.0 innings of work… Compiled 13 strikeouts and just two walks… Led the team with a 16.71 strikeouts/nine rate.

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a two-year letterwinner as a utility player for his uncle and head coach Ryan Medrano at Eastwood High School in El Paso, Texas.

PERSONAL
Father, Raul, played baseball at New Mexico Highlands from 1987-88... uncle, Ryan Medrano, played baseball at New Mexico State from 1994-98 and was a free agent signee with the Cincinnati Reds after the 1998 MLB Draft.
