TAKING THE PITCH
St. Mary's will be hitting the road once more to take on St. Edward's in Austin, Texas. While the series has been dominated by the Hilltoppers in recent years, the Rattlers have their eyes set on their fifth straight win this season and a change in the direction of the rivalry.

The Rattlers are coming off an exciting win against Texas Woman's earning them a fourth consecutive win. The team has been polished and continues to show-up against tough opponents each week, dominating defensively and capitalizing on offense.

St. Edward's last tied to Midwestern State University in their third consecutive away game. They now return home hoping to beat St. Mary's in this annual Battle of the Saints.

RATTLER STORYLINES
-St. Mary's own Megan Copeland was named Defensive Player of the Week in LSC after two solid wins. Rebecca Difronzo garnered Goalkeeper of the Week after she shutdown Angelo State and TWU.

-The last time the Rattlers visited Austin to compete against SEU was in March where they fell by a 3-0 margin.

-St. Mary's is looking for their first win against St. Edward's in over ten years. The last victory came in 2010.

SCOUTING ST. EDWARD'S
-In the last twenty matchups, SEU has beat St. Mary's nineteen times and tied once.

-Katie Gay was the only player to score in the team's matchup against Midwestern State in the 8th minute against the Mustangs.

-SEU's head coach, Nick Cowell, is an all-time great and was inducted into the Heartland Conference Hall of Fame in 2019.
