SAN ANTONIO – The St. Mary's University Softball team plays at home for the first time this season this weekend, hosting No. 19 Texas A&M-Kingsville in a doubleheader on Youth Night on Friday, and Texas A&M-International in a doubleheader on Sunday.

Series Information:
The Rattlers and Javelinas have played 100 games against each other over a 23-year span. StMU won the first seven meetings in 1997-98, and have accumulated a 71-29 lead in the all-time series. Kingsville won both meetings in San Antonio last season, but the Rattlers were able to steal one in Kingsville last March.
The Rattlers and Dustdevils have played each other 52 times in just 12 years, with StMU winning 14 in a row from 2008-11. The Rattlers lead the all-time series 41-11, but split the six-game season series last year.

Jayme Johns leads the team in runs with 15, and also leads those who have played in all 20 games in batting average at .449.
Senior pitcher
Staci Johns leads the team in strikeouts with 39 and has the best ERA at 5.14.
