SAN ANTONIO – The St. Mary's University Women's Soccer team recently received a facelift in their locker room. The new design was completed Friday evening and the student-athletes got their first look at the update on Saturday afternoon.
"It was great to have such a generous donor who wanted to give something not only to this team but for many, many teams to come," said Head Coach
Corwyn Ritch. "It really brings an excitement to the team when they come in and have something that is all their own."
The locker room transformed from bare walls to a motivational masterpiece. The focal point of the design was a wall showcasing words on what Rattler Women's Soccer is about. Also featured are inspirational quotes such as; "Defeat does not come at the end of the game but when you quit on the field."
The redesign was made possible through a generous donation from a Women's Soccer supporter.
