SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's Softball is excited to announce it will be hosting Neon Night at Rattler Softball's doubleheader against Angelo State Tuesday starting at 4 p.m.
Neon Night encourages all fans to wear neon and/or paint their bodies or dye their hair neon, which will enter them into a free drawing for free Fiesta Oyster Bake admission tickets and food coupons throughout each game of the doubleheader.
Fans who come dressed in neon, which includes a neon shirt, pants, shoes or hat, will be entered into the drawing one time while fans attending the game with neon hair (including wigs) or neon body paint (including neon face paint) will be entered into the contest three times.
Admission into the game is free for all St. Mary's students, faculty and staff as well as Rattler Nation members. General admission is $5 and children 12 and under are free.
Promotional games and other giveaways will also take place during each game, located at the Softball Stadium inside The Park at St. Mary's.
St. Mary's Softball is currently ranked No. 5 in the nation with a stout 37-5 record, winning 33 of its last 35 games. The Rattlers have been on a 14-game and 18-game winning streak this season while remaining undefeated in Heartland Conference play, currently at 12-0.
