Played 42 of the team’s 53 games, starting in 40… Missed several games in the middle of the season after a collision at second base while on the base paths… Led the team with a .353 batting average, adding a .504 slugging percentage and a .413 on-base percentage… Collected seven doubles, one triple and four home runs among his 49 hits… Was 2-for-2 in stolen bases… Made only four errors in 255 chances in the field for a .984 fielding percentage… Hit .419 (31-for-74) with runners on base and .800 (8-for-1) with a runner on third base and less than two outs… Tied for third on the team with 15 multiple-hit games… Earned CSC Academic All-District honors and was named to the Lone Star Commissioner’s Honor Roll in both semesters.
2024 (JUNIOR)
Started 34 of the team’s 50 games, starting 32 at first base and two at designated hitter… Hit .269 for the year… Recorded five doubles and one home run among his 29 hits… Drove in 15 runs and scored 20 times… Was third on the team with 22 walks, and was hit another four times… A perfect 2-for-2 in stolen bases… Hit .533 (16-for-30) when leading off an inning… Tied for the team lead, reaching eight times via error… Recorded a season-best four hits, going 4-for-5 against Angelo State on March 17… Drove in four runs in a 2-for-4 day at the plate against Oklahoma Christian on Feb. 25, with a double and a home run… Earned Lone Star Commissioner’s Honor Roll honors in both the fall and spring.
PRIOR TO StMU
Played two seasons at Temple College in 2022 and 2023… In 91 games with the Leopards, hit .288 with a .419 slugging percentage… Collected 15 doubles, two triples and four home runs in 68 hits… Recorded 40 RBIs and stole six bases.
HIGH SCHOOL
Three-year letter winner for Coach Chans Chapman at Reagan HS... Named First Team All-District First Base and Academic All-District sophomore and senior years… Ranked 20th best catcher in state on PerfectGame... played summer ball for Lonestar Baseball Club.
