Volleyball Hosts 10 Matches During 2026 Schedule

SAN ANTONIO — The 2026 St. Mary's University Volleyball team begins the Kristine Pelky era with a plethora of first-time opponents in the non-conference schedule before taking on the always-tough Lone Star Conference slate.
 
The Rattlers open the year at the Rollins College Invitational, playing three first-time foes in Southern Connecticut State (Aug. 28, 9 a.m.), Ursuline (Aug. 28, 3:30 p.m.) and Concord (Aug. 29, 11 a.m.) before closing out the tournament against the hosts at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
 
The following weekend, StMU takes on one new opponent at the Javelina Volleyball Classic in Kingsville. The team opens with Minnesota State Moorhead (Sept. 3, 4 p.m.) and then takes on first-time opponent Findlay on Friday at 10:30 a.m. The second match on Friday will be against former conference opponent Montana State-Billings at 5:30 p.m. and closes against rival, Texas A&M-Kingsville, on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. 
 
The home portion of the schedule opens on Sept. 10 against Texas Woman's in the annual LSC Challenge at 6 p.m., beginning a 10-match home slate for the Gold and Blue. 
 
On Oct. 2-3, the Rattlers host Texas A&M International (6 p.m.) and the Javelinas (2 p.m.) during Family Weekend, and the match against TAMUK will celebrate Alumni Day. Senior Day will take place on Halloween, Oct. 31, when the Rattlers square off with West Texas A&M at 2 p.m. The Rattlers will also host their annual Pink Out Night, raising awareness for Breast Cancer Research on Oct. 23 against Cameron.
 
Single game tickets are now on sale and are $12 for general admission, $3 for youth aged 8-12 and children 7-and-younger are free, as are all St. Mary's students with a student ID.
