SAN ANTONIO — Three members of the St. Mary's University Women's Soccer team will be playing in the UPSL Regional Final as members of the San Antonio Athletic FC on Saturday, when the team takes on the Houston FC for the Texas Central Region Crown.

The winner will advance to the second annual UPSL Women National Finals July 24-26 at Great Park in Irvine, Calif.

"The league is incredibly proud to host our second-ever UPSL Women National Finals," said UPSL Women National Director Amer Mian. "We are doing everything we can to grow the game on the women's side, and increasing the total prize pool to $20,000 reflects our continued investment to the game. We're committed to providing a meaningful national platform where top female players can compete, showcase their talent and win a national championship."

Sophomore Kamora Hall (Frisco, Texas), who joined the Rattlers for the Spring season, sophomore Krista Perez (San Antonio) and junior Anabelle Rodriguez (San Antonio) all play for the Wolves, along with recently graduated seniors Ana Parra (San Antonio) and Shelby Paniagua (Cibolo, Texas).

The Wolves enter the finals with a 6-1-0 overall record and are led in scoring by Rodriguez with eight goals and Hall with six.

At the helm of the Wolves is current Men's Soccer graduate assistant coach Bradley Greene. Greene was a fixture on the Rattlers' defensive line, playing in 70 games over his career (2021-24).

The Regional Final will take place at Westbury Christian Athletic Complex on Saturday, July 11.
