SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's University pitcher
Gabe Cook was named Wednesday to his third All-Region team of the season, earning Second-Team South Central honors by the ABCA/Rawlings team.
Cook, a junior left-handed pitcher from San Antonio, finished the season 7-2 with three saves, a 4.20 ERA, and a 1.17 WHIP. Of his 17 appearances, 10 were starts, and he threw one complete game. Cook struck out 48 with only 18 walks in his 60 innings pitched, and opponents hit .230 against him.
He has also been awarded with Lone Star All-Conference Second-Team, NCBWA and D2CCA All-Region Second-Team honors this season.
