SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's University junior
Gabe Cook was named to the D2CCA South Central Baseball All-Region Second Team in a vote by the sports information personnel in the region.
Cook, a junior left-handed pitcher from San Antonio, finished the season 7-2 with three saves, a 4.20 ERA, and a 1.17 WHIP. Of his 17 appearances, 10 were starts, and he threw one complete game. Cook struck out 48 with only 18 walks in his 60 innings pitched, and opponents hit .230 against him.
He has also been awarded with Lone Star All-Conference Second-Team and NCBWA All-Region Second-Team honors this season.
