•   The St. Mary's Men's Tennis team continues the spring season with three matches in 24 hours in Kearney, Nebraska. The Rattlers will face Nebraska Kearney, Barton County CC and Augustana at the Ernest Grundy Tennis Center. The indoor center houses six courts with mezzanine spectator seating.
•   The Rattlers enter the week with a 5-0 team record, winning 28 of its 30 singles matches and 14 of its 16 doubles sets.
•   St. Mary's has never faced any of the three opponents before in men's tennis.
•   Freshman Nikita Gavrilonoks is the only Rattler to have competed in singles in all five matches. He is 5-0 with two wins each at No. 3 and No. 4 and one victory at No. 5. He and sophomore Lucas Castillo Sanchez have both competed in doubles in all five matches. Gavrilonoks is 4-1, while Castillo Sanchez is 5-0 with two wins at line one and three at No. 3.
•   The Rattlers are one of three undefeated teams remaining in the Lone Star Conference, joining Cameron at the top of the standings. Sul Ross State has not begun its season and doesn't play for the first time until March 6, a full month after StMU started its season.
•   Sophomore Lucas Castillo Sanchez was the first Rattler to reach 10 singles victories this season, and is now 12-3. He is 2-0 in duals at line one and 2-0 at line two, and was 8-3 during the fall tournament season. Junior Leonardo Fabbri and freshman Nikita Gavrilonoks have joined Castillo Sanchez in double digit wins with 11 and 10, respectively.
•   Junior Louis Hein became the first to win 10 doubles matches with his and Fabian Rosales' win on court three against Schreiner. Hein has now won seven straight in doubles and is 10-2 on the year. Lucas Castillo Sanchez joined him with a win against OLLU and is 10-3.
•   At the conclusion of the first semester, St. Mary's had nine student-athletes named to the Lone Star Commissioner's Honor Roll, with Lincoln Baldonado, Bernhard Hauer, and Louis Hein all earning a perfect 4.00 GPA. Diego Alvarez, Aaron Ben Anton, Lucas Castillo Sanchez, Leonardo Fabbri, Nikita Gavrilonoks, and Evin Walsh all sported at least a 3.30 GPA for the fall semester.
