• The St. Mary's Men's Tennis team will host cross-town foe Our Lady of the Lake on Thursday at 1 p.m.
•   The Rattlers are 4-0 on the season, and haven't dropped a match in either singles or doubles so far. In the four matches, the team has lost only three sets.
•   St. Mary's is 11-5 all-time against Our Lady of the Lake, including a 10-5 mark at home. The Saints have won the last three matches between the two teams, including a 5-2 victory last season.
•   Thursday's weather calls for partly cloudy skies in the afternoon with winds 5-10 mph and humidity in the low 60s.
•   Newcomers Ollie Eriksson and Florian Smalto have made an immediate impact to the lineup. Eriksson is 3-0 in singles and has only lost one game in each match, playing at four and five, while Smalto is 3-0 at lines two and three and has only dropped one game total in his three matches. Eriksson is also 2-0 in doubles, while Smalto is 3-0.
•   Sophomore Lucas Castillo Sanchez was the first Rattler to reach 10 singles victories this season. He is 2-0 in duals at line one and 1-0 at line two, and was 8-3 during the fall tournament season. Junior Leonardo Fabbri joined Castillo Sanchez in double digit singles victories against Collin and is now 10-4 overall and 2-0 in duals.
•   Junior Louis Hein became the first to win 10 doubles matches with his and Fabian Rosales' win on court three against Schreiner. Hein has now won seven straight in doubles and is 10-2 on the year.
•   At the conclusion of the first semester, St. Mary's had nine student-athletes named to the Lone Star Commissioner's Honor Roll, with Lincoln Baldonado, Bernhard Hauer, and Louis Hein all earning a perfect 4.00 GPA. Diego Alvarez, Aaron Ben Anton, Lucas Castillo Sanchez, Leonardo Fabbri, Nikita Gavrilonoks, and Evin Walsh all sported at least a 3.30 GPA for the fall semester.
•   Freshman Diego Alvarez and sophomore Lucas Castillo Sanchez were both named Athletes to Watch in the Lone Star Conference.
