•   The St. Mary's Women's Golf team kicks off the 2025-26 season at the DBU Women's Fall Classic, which has relocated to the Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, Texas for this year.
•   The Rattlers are ranked No. 12 in the WGCA Preseason Poll. Lone Star Conference foe and defending national champion, DBU sits atop the poll with 16 of the possible 19 first-place votes and 469 points, while West Texas A&M earned 307 points for eighth, and the Rattlers come in at No. 12 with 273 points. UT Tyler is No. 17 after garnering 174 points, and Midwestern State is the fifth LSC team to appear in the poll at #22 with 90 points.
•   The field for the DBU Classic is Arkansas Tech, #RV Barry, #10 Central Missouri, Central Oklahoma, #1 DBU, #20 Henderson State, #22 Midwestern State, #19 Missouri-St. Louis, #16 North Georgia, #RV Rogers State, Southern Arkansas, #18 Saint Leo, #12 St. Mary's, UT Permian Basin, and #17 UT Tyler.
•   2025 marks the 12th straight time (no fall season in 2020-21) the Rattlers will compete in the DBU Women's Fall Classic, dating back to the 2013-14 campaign. This is the third different location for the tournament, as 2013-18 was held at the Golf Club of Dallas and 2019-24 at the Wildhorse Golf Club at Robson Ranch.
•   The weather forecast for Corinth calls for partly cloudy skies with possible thunderstorms on Tuesday afternoon. Highs will be in the low 90s with winds from the south, approximately 12-14 mph. Humidity will be in the high 60s-low 70s.
•   The lineup for the Rattlers will be 1) Taylor Wilczek, 2) Brielle Burns, 3) Manon Verret, 4)Sabree Lefebvre, 5) Sophia Perkins and Abbey Anderson will compete as an individual.
•   A season ago, Taylor Wilczek received Lone Star Second-Team All-Conference honors, and will be the top golfer for the Rattlers in the first week. She is ranked #114 by Scoreboard by clipp'd. She and Sabree Lefebvre also earned Lone Star Commissioner's Honor Roll honors.
•   Should the Rattlers reach the NCAA Championship, the team will compete in Florida four times this season, once in the fall and three times during the spring campaign. The team will also travel to Colorado twice for the NCAA West Preview in the fall and the NCAA West Regional in May.
•   The Rattlers welcome four newcomers to the team for 2025-26 with a pair of Division I transfers in Brielle Burns and Sophia Perkins, who are both sophomores, as well as freshmen Abbey Anderson and Manon Verret.
