SAN ANTONIO — The Brother Al Invitational wrapped up on Wednesday evening, after several matches were postponed due to inclement weather in San Antonio throughout the weekend, and several others were abandoned with the rain.

Evan Walther (Eagle, Idaho) went 4-0 through the second flight, defeating a pair of teammates in the semifinals and finals to win his first tournament in the Gold and Blue. He and teammate
Louis Hein (Hamburg, Germany) battled to a 10-8 deciding third-set tiebreaker to decide the champion.
Lucas Castillo Sanchez (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) and freshman

The Rattlers begin the Lilly Kimbell Memorial Tournament on Friday, Sept. 12, facing opponents from Our Lady of the Lake as well as Lone Star Conference foes UT Permian Basin and Western New Mexico.
