SAN ANTONIO – The College Sports Communicators Association (CSC) announced the 2025 Academic All-District teams for Women's Tennis and St. Mary's University had two players selected on the prestigious teams.
Both juniors
Stela Sifuentes (Eagle Pass, Texas) and
Alessia Terlizzi (Andria, Italy) were named to the team for the second straight year.
Sifuentes, a communication studies major, also earned Lone Star All-Conference honorable mention honors and Lone Star All-Tournament honors this season. She was 27-6 in singles with a 17-3 mark in duals and went 9-1 in LSC play in 2025. Sifuentes also posted a 15-12 mark in doubles play with an 11-9 duals record.
An international business major, Terlizzi finished the 2025 campaign with a 22-8 overall record, a 17-3 record during spring duals and she was 8-2 in Lone Star action. She also sported a 21-10 record in doubles play, with an identical 8-2 record against conference opponents.
The Rattlers wrapped up the season in the NCAA South Central Regional, winning a share of the Lone Star Conference regular season (9-1) and finishing with a 17-4 record.
