•   St. Mary's Women's Tennis will host the NCAA South Central Regional #2, welcoming No. 23 DBU to Rohrbach Tennis Stadium at Noon on Monday. Admission is free.
•   This is the Rattlers' 11th appearance in the NCAA Regionals and the third in the last four years. It is also the third-straight time the Rattlers have hosted the regional, defeating Midwestern State in 2022 and Angelo State in 2023. The Rattlers are 9-2 all-time in the South Central Regional.
•   St. Mary's is 20-7 all-time against DBU with a 5-3 record at home. However, the Patriots ended the season for the Rattlers a year ago in the quarterfinals of the Lone Star Conference Tournament. This is the first time the two teams have met in NCAA action.
•   The Rattlers won a share of the Lone Star Conference regular season title for the second time (2022) after upsetting #2 Midwestern State in the regular season finale.Â
•   Junior Stela Sifuentes was named to the Lone Star Conference All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the championship in Arlington. Sifuentes won her eighth-straight singles match for the lone point of the day for the Gold & Blue.
•   All six singles players finished at .500 or better in Lone Star Conference play, led by junior Stela Sifuentes at 9-1. Alessia Terlizzi was 8-2, Paula Garrote and Selina Wu were 7-3, Gia Posito was 6-4 and Janel Ospanova was 5-5. Sifuentes has won seven matches in a row, while Posito has won four straight - and all four clinched the team win for the Rattlers.
•   The Rattlers climbed another three spots in the final national rankings of the regular season, moving to No. 11. In three weeks, StMU moved up 33 spots in the polls.
•   Sophomore Selina Wu remained steady in the national rankings at #48. Wu is 24-10 overall, 14-5 in duals and 7-3 in LSC play this year. She ranks 6th in the Lone Star Conference rankings as 10 players from the league appear in the top-75 rankings.
•   At the athletic department end of year awards banquet, junior Alessia Terlizzi won the Female Breakout Athlete of the Year, while Gia Posito was named the Female Newcomer of the Year.
•   Junior Stela Sifuentes has won eight straight singles matches, bringing her career total 51, ranking her eighth on the career singles victories charts. Next on the list in seventh is Jamie Lee Denton, who was 54-21 from 2013-16.
