Quick Hits
•   There has been a slight adjustment made in the schedule for the St. Mary's STUNT Triangular on Wednesday and the final game will now begin at 6:45. All contests with St. Edward's are in the shorter 8-routine format, instead of the normal 16-routine, so the timing has been changed to reflect that.
•   All three matches in the StMU Triangular and the game against DBU on Friday are Lone Star Conference contests. The Patriots currently lead the league standings at 5-0, while TWU is 4-2 and the Rattlers are 3-2. Texas A&M-Kingsville is 1-5 and the Hilltoppers are searching for their first LSC win at 0-4.
•   Junior Guiliana Devora was named the Lone Star Conference Stunter of the Week after being named the Player of the Game twice in the four contests at the TWU Tournament and earning 85 power points. She is the first Rattler awarded this year, and the fifth in the history of the league.
•   St. Mary's went 3-1 at the TWU Tournament, bouncing back after suffering the first-ever loss to the host Pioneers, to win the final three contests. At the tournament, the Rattlers posted their first-ever 24-0 shutout, doing so over the Javelinas.
•   In the first week of the 2025 season, the Rattlers went 2-2 at the OBU Tournament, defeating #11 TWU 14-12 and #17 Southern Nazarene, 19-3, while falling to #3 Maryville, 16-11 and #4 DBU, 15-7.
•   The Rattlers remained ranked 10th in the STUNT Division II poll. StMU is second among Lone Star teams, trailing only #5 DBU.
•   With the addition of two teams to the league, the Lone Star Conference Championship has expanded to a double elimination tournament. It will happen at the site of the regular season champion on March 28-29.
•   The Rattlers have eight first-time opponents on the schedule in 2025. There are two new teams in the Lone Star Conference in rival, St. Edward's and Texas A&M-Kingsville, along with Arizona Christian, Centenary, Central Methodist, Hope International, Purdue Northwest and Vanguard.
•   The Rattlers are coming off their second-straight appearance in the STUNT National Championship. St. Mary's has qualified in each year of the team's existence.
•   A total of 20 STUNT student-athletes were named to the Lone Star Commissioner's Honor Roll after the conclusion of the fall semester. Kailey Carder recorded a perfect 4.00 GPA during the fall to lead the team.
•   St. Mary's had 10 student-athletes named to the inaugural Lone Star All-Conference teams, five on the First Team and five on the Second Team. Flyer Alecka Brown, backspot Courtney McClellan, backspot Jocelyn Mendez, backspot/tumbler Allysin Quintanilla and backspot Isabel Soto were all named to the First Team. Tumbler Sydnye Forde-Richins, tumbler M'Lynn Griego, backspot Ivy Denay Hernandez, flyer Yanelle (Alex) Nicholson and base Riley Smith all earned spots on the Second Team.
