SAN ANTONIO — The St. Mary's University Esports teams found success in week four of the ECAC regular season with match wins for both Valorant and Rocket League and a strong Fortnite leaderboard placement.
The Rattlers' Valorant team found their footing this week with a 2-1 series victory over the Southern Maine Huskies. Although the Rattlers struggled in the first map against the Huskies (3-13), they followed up with two consecutive map wins (13-10) and (13-8). Over their 3-map series, freshman

Rocket League kept their four-week win streak alive with another 4-0 victory, this time against Bridgewater. Over the four-match series, Team Captain
Troy Johnson (San Antonio) scored seven goals, with freshman
Chelsy Tinacba (San Antonio) pitching in nine saves, a season record for Tinacba.
The Fortnite squad, eager to get back into the arena, earned a cumulative 68 match points on Thursday night, moving the team into 68th place overall. The Rattlers have three weeks left in the seven-week ECAC regular season and must earn a leaderboard spot of 33 or better to punch their ticket for the postseason.
