SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's University Baseball alumnus
Easton Parrish was drafted by the Savannah Bananas in the seventh round of the Banana Ball Draft on Friday, Nov. 14.
Parrish, who graduated in May 2025, becomes the first Rattler ever drafted into the league. Parrish played in 173 games, starting 164 of them during his four-year tenure (2022-25). He collected 157 hits, 112 RBI, 31 doubles, eight triples and 22 home runs with a .287 batting average, .494 slugging percentage and .401 on-base percentage. Parrish played outfield, first base, catcher and designated hitter for St. Mary's, earning Lone Star Conference Scholar-Athlete honors in 2025.
Parrish was also a three-time Lone Star All-Academic selection, a 2025 Academic All-District pick by CSC, and a two-time D2ADA Academic Achievement Award Winner. He earned Lone Star Commissioner's Honor Roll all eight semesters as a Rattler.

The Banana Ball Championship League was announced at the Banana Ball World Tour City Draft on October 3rd, 2024,as the first-ever professional Banana Ball League. The league's inaugural year is 2026 with six teams including the Savannah Bananas, Party Animals, Firefighters, Texas Tailgaters, and the two newest teams – the Loco Beach Coconuts and the Indianapolis Clowns. Each team in the BBCL will play a 60-game schedule beginning in April of 2026 and culminating with the Banana Bowl Championship in October.
