LUBBOCK, Texas – The annual Lone Star Conference Baseball awards were announced on Wednesday at the pre-championship banquet and St. Mary's University had two seniors honored for their efforts.

Senior catcher/designated hitter
Devin Goins from San Antonio was named to the All-Conference Second Team at the DH position. Goins led the Rattlers with a .365 batting average, a .547 slugging percentage and a .443 on-base percentage. His 54 hits are tied for second on the team, and 15 went for extra bases. He threw out 12 attempted base stealers while behind the plate, was involved in four double plays and didn't commit an error in 246 chances on defense.

Senior utility player
Easton Parrish from La Vernia, Texas was named to the All-Academic Team in a vote by the league's communication directors. Parrish posted a 3.92 GPA while an undergrad and is working on his master's in business administration. On the field, he hit .299 with seven doubles, a team-leading five triples and three home runs. He also threw out eight attempting to swipe a bag in his time as catcher.

The Rattlers finished the season with a 20-30 record. The team won one conference series and split five others.
