•   St. Mary's Baseball heads north for the Battle of the Saints. The Rattlers hold a 3.5-2.5 lead over the Hilltoppers in the yearly battle, needing baseball to at least split with St. Edward's for the win. A season ago, the two schools tied with three points each.
•   The Rattlers own a 161-102 lead in the longest series in school history, though the Hilltoppers have won four of the last five meetings. StMU is 68-62 all-time in Austin and won three of four there in 2022.
•   Senior RP Andrew Girod earned his third save of the year with the team's 5-4 victory over Texas A&M Kingsville. It is the 13th save of his career, which moves him into a tie with Trent Rousseau (2016-2017) for third on the school's career charts.
•   Senior CF RJ Galvan stretched his reached-base streak to 23 consecutive, the longest streak of the year for the Rattlers. A season ago, three players reached base in 22+ games straight, led by current volunteer coach Jake Mares with 27 consecutive.
•   Senior Devin Goins hit .615 last week against Texas A&M Kingsville, recording multiple hits in three of the four games for eight hits, a double and a triple for a slugging percentage of .846.
•   The Rattlers currently rank 28th in the nation in doubles with 70 and 31st in DII with 10 triples. The team is also 77th in batting average (.301) and 63rd in hits (319).
