NET POINTS
•   St. Mary's Women's Tennis heads to the Lone Star Conference Championship where they will meet fourth-seeded DBU in the quarterfinals. The Patriots edged the Rattlers 4-3 back on March 30.
•   The Rattlers are the two-time defending Lone Star Conference Tournament champions, winning in both 2022 and 2023. Only Stela Sifuentes on this season's active roster has LSC tournament experience as she was named to last year's All-Tournament team after going 3-0 in singles and 1-1 in doubles during the three matches.
•   This is the third-straight season the Rattlers and Patriots have met in the quarterfinals of the Lone Star Championship. StMU won 4-0 in 2022 and 4-1 in 2023. All-time the Rattlers are 19-6 against DBU.

•   The Rattlers are ranked #45 in the national rankings (April 17). Individually, freshman Selina Wu is ranked 12th, and junior Paula Garrote is #58. Wu and junior Karen Kondo are ranked 20th in doubles play.
•   St. Mary's ended the regular season on a three-match winning streak, dropping only one point on the long road trip. StMU defeated Sul Ross State 9-0, Western New Mexico 7-0 and UT Permian Basin 6-1.
•   Sophomore Stela Sifuentes has won the match-clinching point for the Rattlers five times this season, while Kyndall Quiroz and Alessia Terlizzi have each clinched twice and Paula Garrote, Karen Kondo and Elisa Rodriguez have done so once.
•   Junior transfer Karen Kondo became the second Rattler this spring to earn Lone Star Conference Player of the Week honors, joining Paula Garrote from week 1. Kondo won seven matches to over Spring Break, three in singles and four in doubles to help the Rattlers to a 4-0 week, including a sweep over #33 Hawai'i Pacific. Kondo won all three of her singles matches in straight straights, while she and partner Selina Wu were 4-0 with a win over the #47 tandem from HPU.
•   All nine Rattlers who were enrolled at the University were named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll during the fall semester, and five recorded perfect 4.00 GPAs: Paula Garrote, Bailey Godwin, Callah Preti, Stela Sifuentes and Alessia Terlizzi.
