•   St. Mary's Baseball hits the road for a four-game series at Lubbock Christian. The first game on Friday has been moved up to a 3 p.m. first pitch from the originally scheduled 5 p.m.
•   The Chaps hold a slight 28-26 edge in the all-time series and are 15-8 in games played in Lubbock.
•   The Rattlers rank second in the Lone Star Conference and 37th in the nation in fielding percentage at .974.Â
•   Three Rattlers who played all four games against Oklahoma Christian hit over .450 for the series as Easton Parrish hit .474, Trey Guajardo hit .500 and Garrett Brooks hit .550. The trio combined for 11 extra base hits.
•   Senior catcher Devin Goins recorded the 50th RBI of his career against Oklahoma Christian and now has 52.
•   Senior Karlo Kalifa struck out the 50th batter of his career against Oklahoma Christian.
•   Both Isaiah Aguilar and Jake Elizondo have reached base in double figure games. Aguilar has reached in 12 straight, which is the longest stretch on the team this season, while Elizondo has been on base in 10 consecutive.
•   Sophomore Garrett Brooks was named both the Lone Star Conference and NCBWA South Central Region Hitter of the Week after hitting four home runs with 13 RBI in five games. He also had three multi-hit games.Â
•   Senior Andrew Girod earned his first save of the season on Feb. 10 against UT Tyler in the 6-4 win. He now has 11 saves in his career, tying Hall of Famer Danny Heep (1976-78) for fourth in St. Mary's history.
•   The Rattlers signed Jaxon Mungia to a letter of intent through Team IMPACT. Mungia is a 10-year-old who is battling a rare form of cancer. His advice heading into the season: "Keep your eye on the ball."
