•   The St. Mary's Men's Tennis team remains at home, hosting Saint Mary (Kansas) on Friday at 1 p.m. in the lone match of the week.
•   Friday will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools with similar names.
•   The Rattlers played four matches in seven days, going 1-3. The Rattlers dropped the last two by close, 4-3 decisions, losing to #23 Ouachita Baptist and the home opener to Our Lady of the Lake in a rescheduled contest.
•   Senior Jake Faryniarz is a perfect 4-0 in singles duals this spring and has won his last seven matches to go to 8-2 overall. He's won all four this spring in straight sets. He's also 3-0 in doubles play with two wins at #2 and one at #3.
•   Fellow senior Oskar Irdoja is also 3-1 in singles and 3-0 in doubles during the spring. He moves to 16-4 this season in doubles and he's won six straight.
•   Five Rattlers posted 10 or more wins during the fall season with Ian Freire, Daniel Matheu Baldor and Alvaro Soler all winning 11, while Aaron Ben Anton and Ryan Koth each won 10.
•   Several Rattlers are climbing the career doubles duals victories charts in school history. Nicolas Llosa is tied for seventh all-time with 42 wins, tying Matt Banner (2012-15). Jake Faryniarz is 11th with 35.Â
•   At the ITA South Central Regional all nine Rattlers won at least one match in singles play, led by junior Alvaro Soler who reached the quarterfinals and sophomore Aaron Ben Anton who reached the semifinals of the consolation bracket.
•   Seniors Alvaro Soler and Oskar Irdoja were both named Players to Watch by the Lone Star Conference. The pair were both honored on the Lone Star All Conference team a season ago, with Soler named to the All-Academic, All-Sportsmanship and the All-Conference First Team, while Irdoja was All-Academic and an honorable mention pick.
•   Nicolas Llosa is also seventh on the career singles wins chart with 37 and he needs one more to tie Carlos Olea (2011-14) for sixth. Oskar Irdoja ranks ninth on the list with 28 and Alvaro Soler is in a four-way tie for 12th with 24 wins.
•   The Rattlers earned the ITA South Central Region Community Service Award in 2023 for the first time in school history. St. Mary's volunteered at the San Antonio Food Bank, with Habitat for Humanity, the Humane Society and hosted free youth clinics to name a few.
