NET POINTS
•   St. Mary's Women's Tennis remains at home, hosting a pair of Patriots for Easter weekend, taking on UT Tyler on Friday at 9:30 a.m. and DBU on Saturday at 9 a.m.
•   The Rattlers re-entered the national rankings this week, appearing at #37. Individually, freshman Selina Wu is ranked 16th, while she and junior Karen Kondo are ranked 19th in doubles play.
•   St. Mary's is 4-1 all-time against UT Tyler and have won four straight in the series, including a 4-2 victory a season ago. Against DBU, the Rattlers are 19-5 throughout history, winning both a year ago to give the team 14 straight victories over the Patriots.
•   In the first week of Lone Star Conference action, St. Mary's dropped a 6-1 decision to #5 Midwestern State but bounced back for a 5-2 win over #19 Lubbock Christian. The Rattlers won the doubles point in both matches, stretching the winning streak for Karen Kondo and Selina Wu to seven-straight. The other two doubles teams of Janel Ospanova and Stela Sifuentes and Paula Garrote and Alessia Terlizzi are each 8-2 in duals.
•   Junior transfer Karen Kondo became the second Rattler this spring to earn Lone Star Conference Player of the Week honors, joining Paula Garrote from week 1. Kondo won seven matches to over Spring Break, three in singles and four in doubles to help the Rattlers to a 4-0 week, including a sweep over #33 Hawai'i Pacific. Kondo won all three of her singles matches in straight straights, while she and partner Selina Wu were 4-0 with a win over the #47 tandem from HPU.
•   All nine Rattlers who were enrolled at the University were named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll during the fall semester, and five recorded perfect 4.00 GPAs: Paula Garrote, Bailey Godwin, Callah Preti, Stela Sifuentes and Alessia Terlizzi.
•   Freshman Selina Wu finished 1-2 at the ITA Cup during the fall season and was the only freshman in the 16-player women's singles draw at the prestigious tournament. The Rattlers have had at least one participant the last four years.
•   Selina Wu reached the finals of the South Central Regional, falling in the finals to second-seeded Alessa Maier from Texas A&M Kingsville. Wu went 5-1 at the tournament and earned an at-large berth to the ITA Cup.
