•   St. Mary's Baseball hosts Texas A&M Kingsville for a four-game series beginning on Thursday in front of the Eastern holiday.
•   The Rattlers have a 56-42-1 edge in the all-time series against the Javelinas, though TAMUK has won four of the last five in the series. StMU is 32-15 at home.
•   Senior RP Andrew Girod had the longest outing of the season in picking up his second save of the year after pitching 4.0 innings at Texas A&M International on Sunday. Girod allowed one unearned run on three hits with one walk and six strikeouts in earning the 12th save of his career to move him into sole possession of 4th on the school's charts. The next save moves him into a tie with Trent Rousseau (2016-2017) for third.
•   Senior CF RJ Galvan stretched his reached-base streak to 19 consecutive, the longest streak of the year for the Rattlers. A season ago, three players reached base in 22+ games straight, led by current volunteer coach Jake Mares with 27 consecutive.
•   Senior C Devin Goins threw out his eighth would-be base stealer last week at Texas A&M International. Goins has now gunned down 30 attempted thieves in his four years with the Rattlers.
•   St. Mary's currently ranks fifth in the Lone Star Conference in both batting average (.302) and fielding percentage (.962).Â
•   In nine games since his return to the lineup, Brendan Concannon has reached base in eight and has multiple hits in six, driving in 11 runs with seven doubles, one triple, one home run and five walks.Â
•   Sophomore Garrett Broooks currently ranks in the top 10 in the Lone Star Conference in doubles (9th, 11), home runs (9th, 6) and RBI (6th, 34). He ranks in the top 100 in the nation in doubles (34), RBI (45) and total bases (97th, 66).
