• St. Mary's Baseball returns home for five-straight, hosting Oklahoma Christian for a four-game series and Our Lady of the Lake on Tuesday in the final non-conference game of the year.
• The Rattlers are 20-15 all-time against Oklahoma Christian with an 11-6 record at Dickson Stadium.
• Sophomore Garrett Brooks was named both the Lone Star Conference and NCBWA South Central Region Hitter of the Week after hitting four home runs with 13 RBI in five games. He also had three multi-hit games. His four home runs rank 17th nationally and second in the LSC.
• The next RBI for senior Devin Goins will be the 50th of his career.
• St. Mary's has played 14 new players this season, including six true freshman.
• The Rattlers lead the Lone Star Conference and rank 36th nationally with a fielding percentage of .978. StMU also leads the league in sacrifice flies with six. Senior Trey Guajardo is tied for the league lead with two of those six.
• Senior Andrew Girod earned his first save of the season on Feb. 10 against UT Tyler in the 6-4 win. He now has 11 saves in his career, tying Hall of Famer Danny Heep (1976-78) for fourth in St. Mary's history.
• Fellow senior Brett Brown has been wildly effective on the mound. In four appearances (5.2 IP), he has only allowed one hit, but walked five as opponents are hitting only .071 against him. He is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA and one strikeout.
• The Rattlers signed Jaxon Mungia to a letter of intent through Team IMPACT. Mungia is a 10-year-old who is battling a rare form of cancer. His advice heading into the season: "Keep your eye on the ball."
