StMU Broadcaster Rob Shadow Launches LSC Baseball Podcast

SAN ANTONIO — Rob Shadow, the Voice of St. Mary's Baseball, has launched a weekly podcast called "Baseball in the Lone Star" that provides an in-depth look at Lone Star Conference Baseball.
 
This week's episode, Episode 1, can be heard here on Spotify. The episode takes a look back at the opening week of the 2024 season and features interviews with some of last week's top performers in the LSC.
 
Shadow, a long-time veteran in the broadcasting booth, is a versatile announcer who also broadcasts numerous other Rattler sports, including soccer and men's basketball. The project has been a personal goal of Shadow's to complete — an achievement that wouldn't have been possible, he said, without the assistance and expertise of producer Zach Ramirez, a St. Mary's University graduate and former Rattler Network employee. Rights to the podcast belong to Shadow as the broadcast is produced independently of St. Mary's University and the Lone Star Conference.
 
"I think the content is very good," Shadow said, "and the production quality is excellent, thanks to Zach."
 
Week 2 of LSC Baseball continues this weekend, with the Rattlers set to complete Games 3 and 4 of their four-game series against UT-Tyler at Dickson Stadium.
