Lundgren Looks to Rebound from Tough Start

ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – St. Mary's junior Tanner Lundgren got off to a rough start on day one at the NCAA West/South Central Regional Golf Championship at the Foxtail Golf Club but has two rounds remaining.

Lundgren, a San Antonio native, turned in a 10-over par 82, well above his 73.52 stroke average this season, but did put together four-straight pars midway through the round. He is in a three-way tie for 106th place with Aiden Oliver from Sonoma State and Midwestern State's Keaton Dickens.

Lungren will be golfing with the same pair on Friday, taking the course with individuals Andy Yoon from Cal State Dominguez Hills and Max Lange from Colorado School of Mines. The trio will be the last group to tee off, doing so at 1:20 p.m. from hole one.
