•   Due to rainy weather in the San Antonio area, the Battle of the Saints series has moved to Saturday-Monday. The teams will play the doubleheader on Saturday.Â
•   Rudy Solis has reached base safely in each of the last 16 games for the longest active streak on the team and tied for the second-longest stretch this year.
•   Senior Ryan McGowen was hit by another pitch in the Texas A&M Kingsville series and has now been plunked 54 times in his career. That moves him into second in StMU history past Weston Baros (2008-11) and is five shy of tying the record of 59 by David Nelson (2000-03).
•   Senior Andrew Girod is now tied for the Lone Star Conference lead and ranks 15th nationally with his five saves. That total also is tie for sixth on the school's single season charts with John Steele (1995) and Trent Rousseau (2016).
•   Senior Jake Mares is currently on a nine-game hitting streak, the third longest on the team this year and the longest active one. He has multiple hits in six of those nine, raising his batting average 44 points to .339.
•   Freshman Jacob King has eight sacrifice bunts which currently ranks second in the Lone Star and fifth amongst all Division II players. The Rattlers as a group lead the LSC and rank 13th nationally with 28 sacrifice bunts.
•   In his three starts, senior Connor Schmidt has an ERA of 3.32 with 15 strikeouts over 19 innings. He has gone at least six innings in all three starts and the Rattlers are undefeated when he starts on the hill.
