First Pitch
• St. Mary's concludes the regular season with a four-game series at Cameron, hoping to keep the unbeaten streak against the Aggies going as the Rattlers are 10-0 all-time.
• For the second-straight week, the Rattlers have had a player recognized by the Lone Star Conference as Clay Bradford was named co-Hitter of the Week. It is his second weekly honor of the week after he hit .643 with three doubles and two home runs in the series against ENMU.
• Jake Mares is in the midst of a 21-game hitting streak, the longest on the team this season. The streak ties for the secon-longest with Derek Mueller from the 2021 season and they trail only the 24 game streak by Jesse Gutierrez in 2001.
• After recording two saves last week, senior Andrew Girod now leads the Lone Star Conference and ranks 13th nationally with seven saves. His total is also sixth on the StMU single season charts and one shy of tying Trent Rousseau (2017) for fifth. His nine career saves are also tied for fifth with Michael Villarreal (2005, 2007-08, 2010).
• Sophomore Jake Elizondo collected eight assists in the finale against Eastern New Mexico, knotting for the third-most in a single game in St. Mary's history. He was one off the record of nine held by Derek Hamilton (5/2/2015) and Johnny Hernandez (5/20/2021).
• Senior John Curtis was named both the Lone Star Conference and NCBWA South Central Region Pitcher of the Week after not allowing an earned run in a 4-3 10.0 inning complete game at West Texas A&M.
