•   With only three series remaining in the regular season the Rattlers head to Canyon to face West Texas A&M for four. StMU is currently holding down the final qualifying spot for the Lone Star Conference Tournament while the Buffs are fourth.
 •   Rudy Solis has reached base safely in each of the last 20 games for the longest active streak on the team and the second-longest stretch this year. Clay Bradford owns the longest streak at 22 contests.
•   Brandon Broughton returned to the field at first base on Saturday and responded with four straight multi-hit games. Broughton hit .615 against St. Edward's with four extra-base hits and six RBI. It was his first start at first since game six at UT Tyler.
•   Jake Mares is in the midst of a 13-game hitting streak, the longest on the team this season. He has multiple hits in eight of those 13 to raise his average to .348.
•   Senior Andrew Girod is now second in the Lone Star Conference and ranks 26th nationally with his five saves. That total also is tie for sixth on the school's single season charts with John Steele (1995) and Trent Rousseau (2016).
•   The Rattlers are 10-0 this season when tied or leading after seven innings, but 0-7 when trailing through seven complete.
•   Next week, the team will play Friday evening at Nelson Wolff Stadium, Saturday at UIW and Sunday at home for Senior Day due to Oyster Bake festivities.
