•   St. Mary's looks to dust off a three-game losing skid on Friday when it begins a four-game series against Texas A&M International. The Dustdevils are 13-17 on the season, while the Rattlers are 11-14.
•   Senior Ryan McGowen stole two bases in a game for the first time in two years when he did so in the first game against #3 Angelo State. The last time McGowen swiped two was also against the Rams almost exactly two seasons ago, on March 19, 2021.Â
•   Senior Clay Bradford was finally held off the base paths for a game last week in the second game of the series at Angelo State. He reached in the first 22 games of the year and in the last two.
•   Junior Andrew Girod picked up a three-inning save in the opener at Angelo State giving him three saves in his last three outings. He has not allowed an extra-base hit in his last 17.0 innings of work.
•   Senior Connor Schmidt had only thrown 8.1 innings over seven outings before going 6.0 at #3 Angelo State to earn the win. He gave up only one earned run on three hits with five walks and five strikeouts. His last outing that lasted that long was at St. Edward's on March 18, 2022
•   Senior Jake Mares is one of the toughest hitters to strike out in the Lone Star Conference, striking out once every 12.6 at bats to rank third. He also ranks third in the league and 46th in the nation with his 20 walks.
