•   After a successful Spring Break trip to Florida, St. Mary's turns its attention completely to Lone Star Conference play, traveling to take on a pair of Patriots in UT Tyler on Friday and DBU on Saturday.
•   The Rattlers posted a 5-0 record in Florida, shutting out both Eckerd and Bentley, winning 4-3 over Indiana (Pa.), 5-2 over #34 St. Thomas Aquinas and wrapped up the trip with a 6-1 win over Palm Beach Atlantic.
•   St. Mary's is 3-1 all-time against UT Tyler and has won the last three meetings, including a 4-1 victory in the Lone Star Conference Tournament Semifinals. The Rattlers are 17-5 all-time against DBU and have won the last 12 meetings, including a 4-0 decision in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament.
•   St. Mary's climbed back up to #17 in the national rankings. The team dropped to #21 in the previous rankings, but the 4-0 week on the road helped them climb back into the top 20.
•   In the ITA individual rankings, senior Ashley Penshorn mysteriously fell to #13, despite being 15-0 in duals. She and partner Kyndall Quiroz rose to #9 in doubles after the pair went 4-0 in Florida.
•   Senior Ashley Penshorn earned the Lone Star Women's Tennis Player of the Week each of the last two weeks. Penshorn is a perfect 15-0 in duals this season and is currently ranked 13th in the nation. Penshorn has 72 victories in duals (there was an error in the previous report that included several tournament wins), moving into second in school history. She is five wins shy of the all-time mark of 77 by Cristina Lopez (2012-16). Penshorn has also climbed two spots this season into seventh in career doubles victories with 56. She passes Tyra Timm (2014-18), who won 54 in her career.
•   Freshman Stela Sifuentes earned Lone Star Conference Player of the Week honors on Feb. 15 after not surrendering a single game in her win at #6 singles over Our Lady of the Lake. She and freshman doubles partner Alessia Terlizzi also won 6-1 at #3 doubles. She joins Callah Preti and Ashley Penshorn as Rattlers who have won the weekly award during their careers.
•   Sophomore Bailey Godwin has quietly built a six-match winning streak. The last loss was against #8 Central Oklahoma - a three-set nail biter.
