• St. Mary's has qualified for the Lone Star Conference Championship for the second-straight season and will once again face Texas A&M Kingsville in the quarterfinals. A season ago, the Javelinas pulled off the 70-64 upset.
• The Rattlers own a 65-64 edge in the all-time series with the Javelinas, snapping an eight-game losing streak on Jan. 28 in Kingsville, handing TAMUK its first divisional loss.
• In February, senior Caleb Jordan averaged 17.88 points per game over the eight contests, raising his season average from 13.6 to 15.0. He went 34-for-36 at the free throw line (.944), dished out 18 assists (2.25/gm), had 10 steals (1.25/gm) and 24 rebounds (3.0/gm).
• Emmanuel Ewuzie is currently the top shot-blocker in the Lone Star and 16th in the nation, averaging 2.00 blocks per game. He has 54 this season, which breaks the previous record of 44 by Erik Coleman (1993-94). For his career, Ewuzie has 108 swats to rank 2nd, four off the school record of 112 by Kevin Kotzur (2010-13).
• Senior Caleb Jordan moved past legendary coach Buddy Meyer into sixth on the school's career charts. Meyer tallied 1,581 during his playing days (1962-65), while Jordan currently has 1,620. Jordan also moved past both Billy White (2002-05) and Skyler Brooks (2015-19) into second on the career three-pointers made list and has 158.
• StMU now has 98 blocked shots in 2023. That total ties for seventh in the school's single season history. One more will knot the 2013-14 team with 99. The record is 125 swats by the 2008-09 squad.
• St. Mary's has made at least one three-pointer in 161 consecutive games, dating back to Jan. 14, 2017. This season, the Rattlers are averaging 6.1 triples per game.
• With three more triples, junior Tyler Caron will appear in the top 10 on the St. Mary's single-season chart. Caron has a team-best 54, while both Dwayne Polk (1991-92) and Moses Sundufu (2012-13) are tied for 9th with 57.
