• St. Mary's has advanced to its sixth NCAA South Central Regional and second-straight, playing at UT Tyler on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
• The Rattlers lost in the semifinals of the Lone Star Tournament, falling to top-seeded Midwestern State, 4-0. After the conclusion of the tournament, sophomore Oskar Irdoja was named to the All-Tournament team.
• Tuesday will be just the third-ever meeting between UT Tyler and St. Mary's. The Patriots have won both meetings, including a 5-2 win in Tyler to close out the regular season.
• A total of six Rattlers were honored on the Lone Star All-Conference teams the league announced. Nicolas Llosa was named to the All-Academic team and honorable mention in both singles and doubles. Chad Nguyen was named to the Sportsmanship team. Oskar Irdoja was named to the Second-Team in singles and Niklas Knoerr was an honorable mention in singles and doubles. Doubles partners Jake Faryniarz and Pablo Munoz Baroja earned honorable mention, while Baroja was also on the singles list.
• The Rattlers have played in the NCAA Regionals in 2002, 20016, 2017, 2018 and 2021. Twice, the Gold & Blue have advanced on to the NCAA Championship.
• Both sophomores Oskar Irdoja and Nicolas Llosa have broken the school's single season singles record for wins with their 20th at the Lone Star Championship. The previous record of 19 was held by Adam Dockery from 2016-17.
• The 17 victories by the Rattlers are the second-most in StMU history, trailing only the 18 wins by the 2016-17 club that was 18-7 and advanced to the NCAA Round of 16.
• In the most recent national rankings (April 21), the Rattlers are ranked 73rd as a team.
• Both Chad Nguyen and Sebastian Azcui have earned Lone Star Conference Player of the Week awards this season.
• The 10-match winning streak for the Rattlers to begin the season was the longest since the 2016-17 squad won 11 in a row which included a perfect 4-0 run through Heartland Conference action.
