•   Due to impending storms in the Fort Smith area, the order of the games has been shuffled slightly. The doubleheader will be played on Friday starting at 1, while the conclusion Sunday will also start at 1. Saturday's game time is still TBD, depending on the weather.
•   The Rattlers currently hold the eighth and final spot to the Lone Star Conference Championship. StMU needs at least a split to hold off the Lions and Cameron to win at least two over Texas A&M International.
•   Junior OF/P Clay Bradford has reached base in 24 straight games.
•   St. Mary's is 27-19 all-time against UAFS and the teams have only played one game since 2019 as the last two year's series have been canceled due to Covid.
•   St. Mary's continues to be one of the best at turning the double play, as the Rattlers lead the Lone Star and rank fourth nationally with 44 DP in 2022. That total is already tied for fifth on the school's single season charts with the 2018 squad. The record is 52 held by the 2013 team.
•   The Rattler hitters have been patient at the plate, drawing 219 walks, which is second in the Lone Star and 24th in the nation.
•   Senior Jake Mares ranks second in the Lone Star with 19 stolen bases. He is 19-for-21 and has 63 steals in his career.
