•   Though in their third season in the Lone Star Conference, this will be the first-ever Lone Star Tournament as the 2020 edition was canceled due to the pandemic and last season was canceled due to inclement weather.
•   The Rattlers earned the fourth-seed at the Lone Star Tournament and will face fifth-seeded UAFS in the quarterfinals. Earlier this season, St. Mary's defeated UAFS, 5-2.
•   St. Mary's is a perfect 14-0 against the Lions of UAFS. This will be the 11th meeting of the 15 to take place at a neutral site.
•   The 16 victories by the Rattlers are the second-most in StMU history, trailing only the 18 wins by the 2016-17 club that was 18-7 and advanced to the NCAA First Round.
•   In the most recent national rankings (April 21), the Rattlers are ranked 73rd as a team.
•   Freshman Alvaro Soler has now won five straight singles matches after winning both last week at No. 6.Â
•   A total of six Rattlers were honored on the Lone Star All-Conference teams the league announced Wednesday. Nicolas Llosa was named to the All-Academic team and honorable mention in both singles and doubles. Chad Nguyen was named to the Sportsmanship team. Oskar Irdoja was named to the Second-Team in singles and Niklas Knoerr was an honorable mention in singles and doubles. Doubles partners Jake Faryniarz and Pablo Munoz Baroja earned honorable mention, while Baroja was also on the singles list.
•   Both Chad Nguyen and Sebastian Azcui have earned Lone Star Conference Player of the Week awards this season.
•   The 10-match winning streak for the Rattlers to begin the season was the longest since the 2016-17 squad won 11 in a row which included a perfect 4-0 run through Heartland Conference action.
