• The St. Mary's Men's Tennis team went a perfect 8-0 through the month of February, sweeping five opponents and losing only one point in the other three.
• The Rattlers begin March with a match against Our Lady of the Lake on Friday, before celebrating the 70th anniversary of men's tennis with an alumni match on Saturday.
• Sophomore Oskar Irdoja, freshman Niklas Knoerr, sophomore Nicolas Llosa and senior Chad Nguyen are all 6-0 in singles duals during the spring season, while sophomore Jake Faryniarz is a perfect 6-0 in doubles duals. The Rattlers are 22-2 in doubles duals this spring with one loss at No. 2 and one at No. 3 through the first eight matches.
• Both Chad Nguyen and Sebastian Azcui have earned Lone Star Conference Player of the Week awards this season.
• A season ago, sophomore co-captain Nicolas Llosa was 14-4 in doubles, posting the second-best winning percentage in a single season (77.8).
• The Rattlers have five players appearing in the top 20 in the regional rankings. Niklas Knoerr (T9), Nicolas Llosa (T11), Oskar Irdoja (T11), Chad Nguyen (13) and Ryan Koth (20) are all ranked in the November poll. Llosa and Knoerr (4), Irdoja and Rafael Macedo (6) and Jake Faryniarz and Nguyen (10) rank amongst the top 10 doubles teams.
