•   The Rattlers return to Lone Star Conference play with a four-game series at Lubbock Christian.
•   St. Mary's defeated a pair of nationally ranked teams at Minute Maid Park last week, beating #3 Central Missouri, 9-5 and #19 Arkansas Tech, 4-2 to even the season record at 3-3.
•   Senior Dylan Bells was named the Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week after winning over Arkansas Tech. He tied his career-high with eight strikeouts with no walks and only five singles allowed.
•   St. Mary's leads the Lone Star with fewest walks allowed per nine innings at 3.24. That total also ranks 28th nationally. The Rattlers are also second in the conference in strikeout-to-walk ratio at 2.89, which is good for 27th in all of Division II.
•   Senior short stop Jake Mares was named to the NCBWA Preseason All-Region team for the South Central Region. Mares is 45-for-49 in career stolen bases and has scored 96 runs.
