•   St. Mary's is 2-0 in conference play for the first time since the 2012-13 season. That team finished 9-4 in the Heartland Conference and won the league tournament.
•   Tyler Caron ranks third in the Lone Star in scoring in conference games, averaging 21.0 per game. The junior scored a career-best 29 points in the win over ENMU and did not commit a foul in 75 minutes over the weekend. Caron has made at least two three-pointers in every game this season.
•   With the win on Nov. 19, head coach Jim Zeleznak won the 250th game of his career. He ranks third in wins in men's basketball history, needing 28 for second (Ed Messbarger, 279-139; 1964-78). Zeleznak also ranks second in school history with 424 softball victories.
•   Senior Emmanuel Ewuzie has done a great job of giving the Rattlers a second chance at possessions this season as he leads the Lone Star and ranks fourth in the nation in offensive rebounds per game with 4.20. He also ranks fourth in the league with 7.6 rebounds a contest.
•   St. Mary's made at least three three-pointers in 71 straight games and one or more in 141 consecutive games, dating back to Jan. 14, 2017. This season, the Rattlers are averaging 7.0 triples per game and 10 players have made at least one.
•   Tyler Caron needs 23 points for 500 in his career, while Mamady Djikine is 37 shy of the same milestone. Djikine also needs three rebounds for 250. Caleb Jordan is two points shy of 1300, the next point for Ryan Leonard will be his 300th at StMU and his next rebound will be 100.Â
