•   After an 11-day layoff for the holidays, the Rattlers return to action with a pair of Lone Star Conference foes in Texas A&M Kingsville on Friday at 5 p.m. and Texas A&M International to kick off 2023 at 3 p.m. on the 1st.
•   St. Mary's leads the league in scoring margin at +14.0, in steals per game with 10.0 and in offensive rebounds with 13.78 per contest.
•   Senior guard Caleb Jordan is now just eight assist shy of 300 for his career and 12 away from appearing in the St. Mary's top-10. Jai Mahone (1981-83) currently holds down the 10th spot on the career list with 304.
•   All 13 players who have attempted a three-pointer this season have made at least one, breaking the Rattler record for most players sinking a triple in one season. In 2020-21, 12 different players made one, while in 2001-02 all 11 players who saw action drained one or more.
•   Senior Emmanuel Ewuzie recorded his 400th career rebound against Arlington Baptist and now has 405. His average of 7.8 per game is over two rebounds per game higher than at any other point in his career.
•   St. Mary's has made at least three three-pointers in 73 straight games and one or more in 143 consecutive games, dating back to Jan. 14, 2017. This season, the Rattlers are averaging 7.3 triples per game.
•   With the win on Nov. 19, head coach Jim Zeleznak won the 250th game of his career. He ranks third in wins in men's basketball history, needing 24 for second (Ed Messbarger, 279-139; 1964-78). Zeleznak also ranks second in school history with 424 softball victories.
•   Senior Caleb Jordan is second all-time in StMU history with 347 free throws made and nine shy of the record of 356 by Anthony Houston (1986-89).
