DALLAS, Texas – A total of seven St. Mary's Women's Soccer players were honored by the Lone Star Conference on Thursday evening at the banquet preceding the start of the semifinals of the Conference Tournament.

Senior captain
Megan Copeland (San Antonio) and fellow senior
Juni Ejere (Weatherford, Texas) were both named to the All-Conference First-Team for the second-straight year. Copeland tied the school record for game-winning goals with five during the regular season, while Ejere finished second in the Lone Star Conference with 11 goals.

Ejere and sophomore
Eliza Merrion (Park City, Utah) were honored on the All-Academic team for their combined efforts in the classroom and on the pitch.

Rebecca Difronzo (Bari, Italy) and junior midfielder
Love' Tovar (El Paso, Texas) both earned places on the Third Team and the freshmen tandem of
Shelby Paniagua (Cibolo, Texas) and
Sydney Varela (El Paso) were tabbed on the All-Freshman team in a vote by the league's coaches.

The Rattlers won the quarterfinal contest at Lubbock Christian, 3-1 on Tuesday and will face top-seeded DBU on Friday at 5 p.m.
