• After having a pair of games postponed due to Covid-19 protocols, the St. Mary's Men's Basketball team will begin Lone Star Conference play at DBU on Thursday evening.
• The Rattlers have had six different leading scorers in the nine games this season. Josh Brewer, Tyler Caron, Kobe Magee and C.J. Washington have all led twice or tied for the team lead this season.
• St. Mary's currently ranks 37th in the nation - and third in the Lone Star Conference - in steals per game with 8.9. It is a true team effort on the swipes, as no player ranks individually in that category.
• The Rattlers also rank 40th in the nation in turnovers forced (16.44), 41st in turnover margin (3.0) and 51st in blocked shots per game (3.8).
• Sophomore F Tyler Caron has scored in double digits in each of the last three games after missing the first three contests of the season. He is now fifth on the team with 9.3 points per game.
• Senior G Kobe Magee needs just eight more assists for 300 in his career and 16 more will give him 200 in his time with the Rattlers.
