TAKING THE PITCH
The Rattlers welcome the Mountaineers of Western Colorado into town after completing their two-game trip in Oklahoma. St. Mary's and Western Colorado will be introduced on the field for the first time in program history this Friday at 6 p.m.
Coming back from a tough loss against East Central, the Rattlers are looking to benefit from home field advantage and collect another win. Head coach Kevin Driggs has been working hard with the team to perfect the defense and follow through on the shots to ensure a successful weekend.
The Mountaineers are also coming back from a 1-0 loss against Eastern New Mexico University at their home field. With only four minutes left on the clock, Western Colorado allowed the clinching goal, dropping their first game of the season. The Mountaineers will be hungry for a win against the Rattlers on Friday night.
