TEMPE, Ariz. - Just a few days before the St. Mary's Men's and Women's Tennis programs take to the court for the 2021 NCAA Regionals, the Rattlers have plenty of representation in the latest Oracle/ITA Rankings.
With a 13-4 overall record, the men's program comes in in a tie for 37th in the poll while the women check in at 30th.
Individually,
Jeremiah Sanchez, who finished the regular season with a perfect 15-0 record holds steady at No. 16 in singles. Sanchez was recently named the Lone Star Conference's Player, Senior, Academic Player, and Sportsmanship Player of the Year.
For the women,
Ashley Penshorn moves up a spot to No. 24 in singles and
Maria Garcia sits at No. 32.
