SAN ANTONIO – Jeremiah Sanchez of the St. Mary's Men's Tennis program earned this week's Lone Star Conference Player of the Week after a 4-0 performance at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles.
Sanchez won both of his No. 1 doubles and both of his No. 1 singles matches on the week. The graduate student picked up his first Lone Star Conference wins of the season over UT Permian Basin, earning a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 1 singles. and a 7-5 doubles victory with his partner
Leon Hein.
Sanchez is now 5-0 on the season.
The Rattlers return to action on Saturday as they host Our Lady of the Lake at Rohrbach Tennis Stadium at 12:00 p.m.
